There may be times when you will not be able to assist the customer on the phone. In these cases, let the customer know that you will look into the matter and send them an update. Be sure to give them an exact time or date when they should expect to hear from you.
Thank You For Your Feedback
At the end of the call, remember to thank the person for calling and for giving their feedback. If this one customer had an issue with your product or service, it is possible that other customers are dealing with it as well.
